Raritan Power Distribution Units

Over 1,000 models with individual outlet switching, metering, and 400V power distribution. Designed with intelligence, high-density outlet technology, and advanced Power Quality Metrics that ensure a reliable infrastructure.

The PX4 continues the Raritan legacy of delivering best-in-class intelligence while introducing a new set of industry-proven hardware and outlet technology. This new feature set supports rapid deployment in changing environments while providing high density, flexibility, and reliability to drive operational excellence.

  • High Density Outlet Technology (HDOT) is engineered and patented to eliminate the molding around an individual outlet and uses module grouping to fit more outlets into the same space. HDOT outlets require less space than standard PDU outlets, allowing for maximum outlets in a 42U PDU. One pair of PX4 PDUs with HDOT outlets evenly distributed across the PDU can accommodate dense configurations where three or four PDUs would have been necessary.
  • HDOT Cx Outlets are industry-awarded and patented technology that creates a hybrid IEC C13 and C19 outlet that can accommodate C20 and C14 power cables without additional parts or adapters. When server or storage refreshes occur, PX4 PDUs provide the most outlets with the right outlet mix in the right locations on one single wide PDU. This ensures ultimate density and flexibility while reducing complexity and costs associated with the purchase of new PDUs when future equipment updates occur.
  • RamLock Mechanical Locking is a rugged and high-strength outlet and cord-locking system that mechanically secures C14 and C20 plugs to your PDU without requiring special cables, sleeves, or adapters. It allows for quick and intuitive installations and unplugging with a one-handed “squeeze and pull” action that prevents unintended downtime due to power cords becoming unintentionally unplugged.
  • The 45-Degree Angled Infeed is a flexible infeed cord design that improves infeed accessibility and reduces the number of PDU configurations needed. Wherever you feed your cabinet’s branch circuit power, the PX4’s angled infeed is a one-size-fits-all solution that supports end or front entries to position the PDU where needed, simplifying your deployments while saving time and money.

  • Raritan KVM Switches

Raritan provides a variety of KVM-over-IP Switches that leverage today’s Ethernet and TCP/IP networks to provide anytime/anywhere remote access, control and management. Dominion KVM-over-IP switches provide at-the-rack access plus unlimited IP access and control via LAN, WAN and the Internet. Suitable for small labs to the largest enterprise data centers, Raritan is the market leader in KVM-over-IP switches.

The Dominion KX IV–101 is an ultra-high performance, single-port KVM over-IP Switch. It provides high-performance, flexible, KVM-over-IP remote access, control, and management, supporting 4K video resolution and 1080p at 60 frames-per-second. It is Raritan’s 4th generation Dominion KX switch and our most powerful KVM-over-IP switch to date.

The Dominion KX III is a series of high performance KVM-over-IP switches for data centers, labs, and server rooms. A single switch can connect to 8, 16, 32, or 64 multi-platform servers and serial devices. It accommodates 1, 2, 4, or 8 remote users and 1 local user. Easily connect to VGA, HDMI, DVI, DisplayPort, USB, PS/2, and serial ports. The high performance User Station is perfect for broadcast studios, labs, and control rooms.

    SmartSensors

Raritan's comprehensive set of SmartSensors monitors your datacenter’s environment to gain valuable insight into your operations and stay informed about environmental and security hazards that could impact your IT hardware. These sensors are easy to deploy and provide helpful information to maintain the performance and lifespan of your IT assets. Whether you're managing a colocation, micro data center, or a small server room’s white space, SmartSensors are the perfect solution for efficient operation management.

    • Temperature sensors can be placed at the front or rear of the rack to monitor cool air entering and/or hot air being expelled to ensure proper containment.
    • Temp and humidity sensors - string together three sensor packages to easily mount at the bottom, middle, and top of the cool air inlet side as per ASHRAE2 guidelines.
    • Vibration sensors detect shock and vibration over a wide range of frequencies.
    • Dust/particle sensors monitor indoor dust/particle density levels.
    • Water/leak sensors detects water's presence. The Water/Leak Rope series also detects the presence of water and marks the specific location of a leak.
    • Contact closure sensors detects the open-and-close and on/off status of connected third-party door position and door lock detectors/switches.
    • Airflow sensors monitors airflow circulation, such as under a raised floor or just above perforated tiles.
    • Proximity-motion sensors detects motion around a cabinet and is often used in conjunction with a Webcam event.
    • Temperature-differential-air-pressure sensors monitors differential air pressure above and below a raised floor, or between hot and cold aisles to prevent thermal leaks.
